Not A Fashion Blogger Afterall: Emerald On A Sunny Day



I'm not a green person. Meaning I don't usually wear green colors. However, this rich, deep, emerald colored cardigan was just to die for I snatched it on the dot. It has been in my wardrobe for more than a year now, and has been worn many times especially when it is a little bit cloudy outside that the temperature in the office dropped and the usually cold AC turned into winter-like! I even bought a similar sweater for a coworker friend who absolutely loves the color green.

Though I started this blog posting mainly outfit posts, over the years Style N Season has been slowly metamorphing into including many different topics: motherhood, marriage, frugal living, daily life, tips, etc. You know, women stuff. ^__^  If you have been following Style N Season for several years, you might notice that I don't often write outfit posts now. If I call myself a fashion blogger, I must be a completely boring one. I don't follow trend, I almost never have anything new nor branded. I just mix and match what I already have in my closet. I don't carry the "it" purse. I'm not a shopping addict, and I'm a believer to limit what I'm thowing into the landfill whenever I can. Wear it out. Make do. Do without.

For example. The purse charm thing was an old necklace that I tried to wear one last time just for the sake of it before throwing it away. It might look perfectly fine on pictures, but actually the necklace is no longer fit to be worn, and have developed spots and stains and color changing that won't be cleaned. So I hung it to my purse handle, snapped a few pictures in honor to its years of service, then threw it away.

So yes, I guess I'm not a fashion blogger afterall. I am a woman, a wife, a mom, who blogs. ^__^

    Great repurpose of your necklace. It's great to mix what's in your closet, I think that's harder than always shopping.
