I'm Dreaming of Bali

I need a holiday. A vacation. I've been so busy with work and planning for my moving that I barely have time to creating posts or blogwalking.
I know, it's been only two months and more since my last vacation, but still... Lying down on the beach, listening to the ocean waves, the sun, the sea, the coconut tree... I guess that's why I'm trying to do a little self-persuassion (or self-delusion?) that a Balinese white top with handpainted flowers on it will take the mind (if not the body) to that magical Island of The Gods.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to bribe my stomach with some peranakan cuisine at Kedai Tiga Nyonya Tebet.
Well, at least Jakarta is as hot as sunny as Bali...

Notice the peranakan interior, the old-style Chinese wallpaper and wood hangings?
And don't forget the main reason to be there: the food!

    Hi Leanne! I know how you feel about vacation too, my bf calls it the vacation bug but in your case I just think you need a quiet time to relax and enjoy "me" time =)

    I think that's so cute you need to guide your bf when he buys gifts for you! Honestly I do too! It's rare for me to 110% like something my bf gets me, even if I tell him I like something in a specific colour he will STILL buy a colour HE thinks looks better! Oh my -.-
