Cowgirl Goes To Town

I bought this plaid shirt for two reasons: it was on sale and I needed an outer layer that could protect me from the desert scorching sun during Holyland trip last year. The plaid shirt was perfect, it's thin, made of light fabric, baggy, and has long sleeves. The problem is, now that I'm done with the trip, what I'm going to do with it? I sure hate to see it just sitting idly at the dark recess of my closet. Hence, inspired by this post at Atlantic Pacific blog, I'm incorporating the basic plaid shirt to my office wardrobe. What do you think?

Last time I wore it, it looked like this... (Read the original post here)
And today it looked like this...

True, I don't wear 'elegance' on my sleeves in terms of fashion.
But I sure do embrace 'fun' in fashion with wide open arms!

Plaid shirt: Nevada (Matahari Department Store, MAG). Black wrap skirt: tailor made. Shoes: Yongki Komaladi. Red checked purse: Les Catino (Lotus Department Store, MAG). Earrings and butterfly keychain on the bag: Bugis Junction, Singapore. Bow necklace: Forever21. Bracelets: Shanghai. Black-and-white bracelet: gift. Red obi belt: Mango.
Aaaand last week I got an email from Allison of Two Thirty Five Designs. One of my post got featured at her 365 Challenge weekly link up. Hurrayy!! Thank you, Allison, for thinking that my post is interesting enough to be featured!

My favorite outfit of yours to date! Love the red nautical belt, such a statement piece! :) I also love my plaid shirts, they're surprisingly versatile (wear them for work and during the weekends!)
