Who doesn't love Forever 21 accessories? They're super cute and super affordable. Some people have lamented about the poor quality, but frankly, I've been having my gold F21 earrings and necklaces for three years now, and they still look pretty and just as gleaming as ever! Perhaps because I take a good care of them, wiping them off after each use, and keep them in separate plastic pouches in my accessories box.

I got these on one of those Friday night dates I sometimes have with Hubby. We had dinner at one of the malls located near his office, then walked around. I will post some pictures about our dinner at the end of the post. About a month earlier we saw the neon sign of H&M when we passed the mall, so I thought I would drop by and take a look what H&M stores look like in Indonesia. I went to H&M store in Singapore several years ago, and they opened in Jakarta last year at a different mall, but the queue was so long I thought it's not worth visiting until the craziness died down a bit with H&M fashion lovers.

However, it turned out they just put the neon sign for promotion that H&M is coming soon. So they're not opened yet. Sooooo disappointed!

We ended up passing through F21 on the way back to parking lot, and I decided to make a quick stop. I didn't have any intention to buy anything, I had not bought any accessories for more than a year, as I mentioned in last week's post, but I thought "Some browsing won't hurt". And, as you can guess, I ended up with these gold lovelies! My Hubby encouraged me to get these, actually, noting that I had not bought any accessories for quite some time.

I don't have much of gold jewelry, mostly mine come in gold colors, so these are perfect additions to my collection. I especially like the 3D flowers one, the design is so exquisite. The other necklace is like a lace design, delicate and lovely. It's my husband's favorite, by the way. ^__^

I'm so excited about my new necklaces and earrings! Anyway, what do you think of my outfit? I know the blue beads on top of creamy coral is a bit hit and run, but I thought the combination is lovely. The Guess bag is a secondhand treasure that I got for less than five bucks. My friend didn't want it anymore, so I bought it from her about six years or so ago. It has started to disintegrate, so I think I won't be carrying this for so long. But it will still do for once or twice, I guess. I guess Guess. Haha!

My Mom, and also Hubby said that I should be thinking about getting new purses and dresses, because I have not done any shopping for quite a long time. Let's see, the last time I shopped for dresses, it was at the end of 2011 during a business trip to Singapore! Wow, it's been a while! After that I did get some new things from Mom from her trip to China, and I bought some simple T-shirts for lounging around the house with my son. I believe that style and motherhood can go hand in hand, but somehow I just didn't shop after getting married because I was preoccupied with so many other things, like moving, my husband, household, getting pregnant, work and taking care of my son. Well, perhaps I will go shopping one of these days.

Perhaps you can't tell, but the strap has started to rip apart. Ow, and this was the last time I wore these pair of shoes, because the material had started to peel off. This is one of the eight pairs that I got rid off when reorganizing my shoe closet as I wrote on this post. Anyway, I've been having them for almost four years, so it was a good buy.

So here me and Hubby acting like young lovers. Haha!

And here we were taking selfies!

This is the place where we had dinner. It was called Ninety Nine, and it's a very nice place with quaint black and white tiling and greeneries.

This is how the restaurant look from above. See what I mean by pretty black and white tiles?

I don't drink wine, but Hubby does. There was a promotion going on, and we got this bottle of wine for relatively very good price. We have lots of wine at home, but sometimes it's OK to pay a premium price for moments and memories. ^__^

I was having my period, and when I do, I always crave red meat. Usually I prefer chicken, but today I was having beef. The patty was cooked in garlic butter, then smothered with creamy brown mushroom gravy. The mashed potatoes was just creamy and smooth with garlic butter. Super delicious! I wish they add some asparagus on the side, that would be nice.

My husband ordered a steak. I think it was ribeye. It looked pretty similar to what I had, but they taste different. Both tasted good but different. Well, overall, it was a very good Friday night!

Oh my goodness, I just have to say that I LOVE the bottom gold necklace. I am soo obsessed with gold right now, then make it roses--and a necklace--and it's pretty much perfect. :D

Love the collar on your shirt!

I've never tried the rings from Forever21 as I always assumed they were poor quality (every other cheap ring I own has had the gold plating wear off after a few uses). Glad to know they aren't, as I'll definitely be checking them out now.

Yes, I do also love my Forever 21 accessories. I haven't been disappointed once and I don't take half the care you do, cuz they are so inexpensive I just get more and more.

When a F21 moved into the Farmington Station Park Mall, I thought I had died and gone to heaven, even before I knew I had breast cancer. lol

Thank you for being at "Fashion item Friday. I sooooooo appreciate it and love your style sense, so much. ♥, Renae
