Industrial Flower Patch: I Miss My Long Hair!

I happened to find these pictures in my computer, and suddenly I realized how short my hair is now - which is still long - compared to the way it used to be pre pregnancy.

I love long hair. I used to have waist length hair. Contrary to general belief, long hair is not that high maintenance. Or perhaps I was just lucky. My hair was permanently straightened every nine months. It's not the most beautiful hair in the world, but it's strong, no split ends, it grows fast, and very thick. Actually I cut my hair after having Baby Michael to avoid hair loss that many new moms experienced, but it seems that I still have a lot of hair. Some say you have worse hair loss when you have a baby girl instead of a baby boy, I don't know if that's relevant?

One thing about having my hair long and straight is, I don't need to style it in any particular style. I can just let it air dry and it will still look nice and neat. When I want it off my face, I can just tie it back, pin it up, or braid it. Simple and easy. Actually, when I had short hair in high school, I used to spend more time styling it than when I had it long. Also shorter hair needs more frequent trimming than long hair so that its shape won't change - like once a month. With long hair, I just need to trim every three months or so. So, who says that having long hair is high maintenance? At least for me, personally, I found it the other way around, hahaha!

I wore this ensemble pre-pregnancy for a lunch date and a movie with Hubby at Planet Hollywood. They had a 50% off brunch special, and it was too much of a good deal to pass up! ^__^

Come to think of it, this ensemble also qualifies as a mommyform! Especially since the accessories are mommy and baby friendly like I wrote in this post here. The cheerful flower necklace is made of felt material, and though it seemed like a crazy impulsive buy when I got it, it turned out to be a jewel that has been worn at many many happy occassions.

This is the interior of the restaurant. It's pretty unique, and I love it!

Even the ladies room decor is unique!
